Lorna Shore is currently one of the biggest Deathcore Bands in the world. With their new album release of “Pain Remains” hitting #150 on the Billboard 200 within only a week, it was not surprising that the Pain Remains tour was a hit. With 26 shows on this run, every single one sold out quickly, Including Pittsburgh, PA.
Opening up the show on this exciting Friday night was Ov Sulfer With their newest single release “Stained In Rot” they sure knew how to get the crowd ready for the long night ahead!
Next to take the stage was Canadian band Angelmaker who is best known for their song “Leech’ off of their album Dissentient, which they ended their set with. One of their vocalists Casey Tyson-Pearce even jumped down off of the stage to stand on top of the crowd for this one! The entire venue jumping up and down yelling lyric to lyric!
Up next for the openers was Ingested who are from Manchester,UK. Ingested definitely put on a show to remember starting off with one of their most popular songs “The List” to then bringing out Vocalist Will Ramos of Lorna shore mid set for a feature which had the entire crowd
going nuts! Last but not least for the openers, was Aborted, a Belgian Deathcore band. Aborted’s live performance was nothing short of an all around great live set. Multiple circle pits were formed, and crowd-surfers flying everywhere, all in all everyone had a great time. Not to mention their significant stage props that brought their set to life even more.
On Friday, November 18th, Lorna Shore Rocked out Pittsburgh PA’s Roxian Theatre for their last U.S. show of this tour. As soon as they hit the stage, the entire crowd was ecstatic. The whole venue moved side to side along with crowd-surfers and mosh pits throughout the entire set. They played 11 songs including an encore, starting out with their first track off their new album “Welcome Back O’ Sleeping Dreamer”.
During their set they had a moment where everyone pulled out their phone flashlights/lighters and the entire venue was luminant, while everyone sang lyric to lyric back to the band. They truly know how to make sure everyone has a great (but safe) time. If you weren’t able to snag tickets for this run, they still have a few shows left for the year and some upcoming events for 2023.
