Linkin Park just dropped a video on TikTok, and it sure sounds like unreleased music from the ‘Meteora’ era

Earlier about a week ago, we revealed that Linkin Park was heavily teasing a major celebration of the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album, Meteora. While not quite as big as Hybrid Theory in terms of sales, the record proved that Linkin Park was here to stay. It might have looked effortless on the surface, what with how big singles like “Numb” and “Faint” were, but the process was anything but.

Anyway, while the band hasn’t revealed what’s coming in the apparent celebration package (we know some of it, though!), we do know that the band just released a video – on TikTok, no less. If you haven’t already guessed, the film clip you’ll hear below appears to be that of a song called “Thoughts That Take Away My Pride”, which appears on the documentary The Making Of Meteora, albeit in a very short clip.

If you’re a more in-depth Linkin Park fan, you might know that the song title is pretty high on wishlists for the band to release in some form, as it was a demo that ultimately didn’t make the final record. Much like “She Couldn’t” and “Pictureboard”, in a way, which appeared on the Hybrid Theory 20th anniversary record.

What’s even cooler is that Linkin Park dropped a clip of the song on TikTok, and it appears it may arrive entitled “Lost”. Perhaps, as that’s what the likes of Linkin Park Live are speculating. Either way, it appears we may get a taste of at least one demo prior to the release of the huge box set they’re about to drop. Let’s GOOOOOOOO.

Any idea how this works?
