Light The Sky is a great callback to 2010s metalcore with their debut song “The Riddler”

Metalcore is always expanding with fresh new artists and one of the ones that stick out goes by the name of Light The Sky. This North Carolina-
based metalcore group is a fresh face on the scene that just unleashed their very strong debut singled titled “The Riddler”. Light The Sky is a trio, consisting of Cody Honeycutt, John Parrish, and Derek Wilson. The group implements a very straightforward style of metalcore, falling more on the aggressive side. Aligned with artists like Ice Nine Kills, Motionless in White, and older styled Asking Alexandria, Light The Sky has left a very good impression on us with their debut song. Light The Sky takes us back to a simpler time in metalcore back in the early/mid 2010s. Light The Sky captures the energy that made this era of metalcore so great down to the T. We’re excited to see what more Light The Sky can bring to the table in the future!
