Money In The Bank

Fort Worth, Texas

Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Natalya vs. Asuka vs. Tamina vs. Naomi vs. Nikki ASH vs. Zelina Vega vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Liv Morgan
Actual good wrestling kicking the match off with each woman getting their moves in. While Bliss plays her character well having stuff like her hypnotizing Vega while on the ladder just dumbs down the match so much. Nikki Ash took a dive from a ladder outside onto everyone on the inside, aside from her standing there way too long before jumping she actually almost didn’t even make it as she lost control of the jump the second she pushed the ladder away. Bliss getting buried under ladders by everyone was clever. Having Nikki win it while everyone was fighting on the ladder was a smart move but also someone who didn’t need to win it, for sure an odd choice. 3 / 5
WWE RAW Tag Team Title Match
AJ Styles & Omos (c) vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
Shockingly much better than expected. Raiders looked great here and as a force to almost get the belts. Moments between them and Styles were pretty good. Just Omos is still a boring and bland giant in the ring with a limited move set. 3 / 5
WWE Title Match
Bobby Lashley (w/MVP) (c) vs. Kofi Kingston
Kofi got two moves in and two quick pin attempts before this before a total squash. Made Kofi look horribly weak instead of doing anything to make Lashley look dominate. Dragged on for way too long as a prolonged squash. .5 / 5
WWE RAW Women’s Title Match
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
Rhea pulling and lifting Charlotte around shows just how strong she is. Charlotte doing a moonsault off the top rope to the outside and just barely connects with Rhea could have been a disaster. A really solid match between the two with Charlotte putting it all out to get the belt back. The crowd was an odd mix of hot for the match and openly against Charlotte for a lot of it with not even wanting the match. 3 / 5
Money In The Bank Ladder Match
King Nakamura vs. John Morrison vs. Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Ricochet vs. Big E vs. Riddle
Ricochet launching himself well over the ropes onto Morrison to start the match was great. Having Riddle do something similar right after was great as well. This was a crowd pleasing match. Everyone was given numerous moments to shine. It moved along at a fast pace and had more high flying moves than you could count. Possibly too many high flying spots from everyone but still a solid match. Big E winning was over like crazy too. 3 / 5
WWE Universal Title Match
Roman Reigns (w/Paul Heyman) (c) vs. Edge
Quite the slow paced main event. Started off really slow and while it picked up some it just never reached the great level of the their Wrestlemania match. Throw in a ref bump spot that took way too long, numerous run ins, and tons of false finishes into the fray and personally it just didn’t do much for me. Towards the end the crowd was going nuts for the false finishes though. 2.5 / 5
I will say the pop Cena got for his return though was massive.
