Six Way Scramble Match
Mike Jackson vs. Jordan Oliver vs. Billie Starkz vs. Starboy Charlie vs. Nick Wayne vs. Marcus Mathers
Action Mike Jackson at 71 looks and moves fantastic. Action Mike easily steals the show but also some moves involving him were quite sloppy which can be forgiven due to age and some of these guys wanting to take it easy and safe with him. This was actually a good scramble match because it moved along at a steady pace without slowing down too much. Everyone got their showcase moments in but there were just so many moves here that clearly didn’t connect that at times it took the moments away. 3.5 / 5
BLP Midwest Title Match
Alex Shelley (c) vs. Tom Lawlor
Good match with all focuses on hard hits and submissions. Kept the pace going mostly though with a hot fast moving ending. Not the normal match you’d think of Shelley being in but he did good here against Lawler. 3 / 5
Super Lucha Four Way Tag Team Match
Juventud Guerrera & Kamikaze vs. Arez & Gringo Loco vs. Dragon Bane & El Hijo de Canis Lupus vs. ASF & Laredo Kid
A fun but sloppy lucha match. Pure spot fest with everyone taking turns to do some crazy moves. Started off super slow though with Juice talking too much trying to hype him and the crowd up. Just wish at times they’d take the extra few seconds to set up a spot so that they don’t nearly completely botch it. 3.5 / 5
2 Cold Scorpio vs. Stallion Rogers
Maybe Rogers brought the best out of 2 Cold here because this was his best match in quite some time. I’m still not a big modern 2 Cold fan however but Rogers helped get the pace of the match going here however he should of went over being back on the Indies again. 3 / 5
BLP Heavyweight Title Match
Jake Something (c) vs. Effy
Really good match between these two. Effy took massive damage throughout fighting through and having his moments. Great chemistry between these two in a really fun brawl for it all here. 4 / 5
Eight Man Tag Team Match
Nick Gage & The Second Gear Crew (AJ Gray, Mance Warner & Matthew Justice) vs. The Powers Of Pain (The Barbarian & The Warlord) & Warhausen (Danhausen & Warhorse)
Nick Gage having the crowd chop the Barbarian while he laughs was just wonderful. Gage then giving Barbarian a straight up headshot with a chair seemed a bit much given his age. As an 8 man tag this was rather tame. Some guys barely got any time shown and the match having an interference to end it before it got going more was dumb but I understand why story wise. Gage giving everyone props at the end was nice though. 2.5 / 5
Death Match
G-Raver vs. Jimmy Lloyd
A super fun deathmatch that has been built over a 2 year storyline. Entire match was pretty much just spot after spot but it worked great given the long term story telling and matches between these two. It was a solid payoff, though after the glass ceiling wasn’t the massive ending some would hope for. 4 / 5
