KISS sat in for an interview yesterday (Wednesday, March 1) with “The Howard Stern Show” where the band announced a slew of dates leading up the big announcement of the bands final performances on their “End Of The Road” tour.
The band will end their run where they started in NYC with two nights at the legendary Madison Square Garden on December 1st and 2nd. Before that the band will play a run of dates in Canada alongside a few US dates leading to the big moment in NYC.
As a tour that has sparked controversy for extending its end time both due to covid and to add more shows mixed with the bands legacy of come backs, it has sparked many debates as to if they actually stay retired from here. The band hinted during the interview that this is the final tour and could lead to returns for one offs, festivals, residencies, or whatever happened. Long time manager Doc McGhee has also stated in past interviews that this is simply the final tour with Gene and Paul and what happens next to the band is yet to be seen.
