With a new album likely dropping this year, Job For A Cowboy still haven’t released a record since 2014’s Sun Eater. Obviously, it’s been a while for the acclaimed band – and about as long since they even played a live show. Well, the latter is changing later this year, good news!
Considering all the bands Blue Ridge Rock Festival has been able to bring back out of lengthy hiatuses, it’s not a surprise that they were able to get Job For A Cowboy to play their first show in years in September. But it does add to the signal that the band’s new full-length record, which is still being recorded now with Jason Suecof, might be ready in time for the festival appearance. Here’s hoping, at least.
