Jason David Frank, ‘Power Rangers’ star, has passed away at the age of 49

Jason David Frank, the iconic Green Ranger on Power Rangers as well as a famed mixed martial artist, has passed away at the age of 49. Apparently, sources close to the situation have revealed the cause of death was suicide.

Jason became a star on the original run of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in 1993, where he appeared as the Green, Red, White, and Black Rangers at one point. To say this series was extremely popular is an understatement – it helped launch Frank’s career.

Frank’s representative confirmed the news via TMZ, who said: “Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being. He loved his family, friends and fans very much. He will truly be missed.”
