Fans were treating an evening of softer music, sing alongs and great vibes as Nina Nesbitt and James Arthur rolled into the legendary Riveria Theatre in Chicago.
Kicking off the evening was Nina Nesbitt who quickly won over a crowd of both old and new fans. Either on an acoustic guitar or a keyboard she was quiet and graceful but commanded the crowd even as an opener. With songs that hit home with their messages and lyrics she had fans singing along and going through a bevy of emotions. Nina is for sure one to watch for because it’ll be no time before she is headlining the same stage.
The anticipation set in though as it was time for James Arthur to take the stage. A show that COVID has delayed coming fans were happy for the time to finally come and just like once they burst right into “4000 Miles” he had the crowd eating out of his hand.
Its easy to see why James Arthur has such a rabid following once you hear him singing live. He is intimate, powerful, but also has that rock star feeling to him all rolled into one. Blasting through a set of deeper cuts and fan favorites the crowd had an evening of singing along and pouring their hearts out before he closed his set with “Say You Won’t Let Go” which has become a massive single and will go down in the history books. This was an evening worth waiting for and one fans won’t be forgetting soon.
