Inside Lorna Shore’s “Flesh Coffin”

We’re hardly into 2017, but after taking a month or so to digest Lorna Shore’s impending sophomore full-length (Flesh Coffin, out February 17th), I can easily say that this is Lorna Shore’s finest moment to date. Don’t believe me? Listen to recently released single “Denounce The Light” for proof. Or wait another month and jam the album when it’s released. I do know this – Flesh Coffin is a wonderfully diverse metal album that adeptly combines various metal subgenres – black metal, death metal, hardcore, and progressive metal, throws plenty of unexpected turns into the mix, and cranks the volume to 11. Even the production is much better than 2015’s Psalms, which is a massive plus.

2017 is the year Lorna Shore gets what they’ve been working towards – a worldwide fanbase.
