Multiverse United “Only The Strong Survive”

Los Angeles, California

March 30th, 2023

Impact X-Division Title Scramble Match
Trey Miguel (c) vs. Rocky Romero vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Rich Swann vs. Clark Connors vs. Kevin Knight

Just 7 minutes of nonstop action. Nothing much to it outside of letting guys get spots in really.

2.75 / 5

Eight Man Tag Team Match
Eddie Edwards, Joe Hendry & Team Filthy (JR Kratos & Tom Lawlor) vs. Alex Coughlin, Callihan, Fred Rosser & PCO

Same as the first match, just a lot of people and a lot of spots. PCO doing the same thing as always. Fine but nothing great.

2.75 / 5

Singles Match
Jeff Cobb vs. Moose

Cobb throwing Moose around is impressive. This was just what you thought it’d be too, two big guys hitting hard.

3.25 / 5

Impact Knockouts World Title #1 Contendership Four Way Match
Miyu Yamashita vs. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Gisele Shaw vs. Masha Slamovich

This had its moments but man it was sloppy. Moves didn’t connect, they fell through, or it just looked like at times they flat out didn’t know what the next move was.

Impact World Tag Team Title Four Way Match
BULLET CLUB (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) (c) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) vs. Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) vs. TMDK (Bad Dude Tito & Shane Haste)

This felt way longer than it was honestly. It was fun and pretty much what you’d expect. Every team got their time in here and Bullet Club kept the belts. TMDK came off though as the best looking ones here though.

Singles Match
KUSHIDA vs. Lio Rush

A really solid match up here. Rush can always go when he’s with someone that can match him and this was that match.

3.5 / 5

NJPW STRONG Openweight Title Match
KENTA (c) vs. Minoru Suzuki

A hard hitting match that fell apart at the finish. Kenta is a good heel but the ending just felt abrupt and not in a great way.

3.25 / 5

Singles Match
Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Mike Bailey

I mean this was what you’d expect here. Spots and big moves mostly. Not a ton of selling here either which is always odd but its whatever given who was involved.
