Long-running alternative rock band Goo Goo Dolls are set to tour later this fall, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their breakout record Dizzy Up The Girl. Even better? They’re playing the entire album in full – and while it’s a fairly typical thing for bands to do to capitalize on nostalgia, the record is where they truly morphed into global superstars. Seriously, there’s no way you didn’t hear “Iris” at least a few dozen times in the late 90’s.
Check out the full list of dates below, along with a full stream of the album if you’re interested in revisiting it. The album is much more than just megahits “Slide” and “Iris” – it splits the difference between their older records and the platinum-selling albums like Let Love In that they’d release later in their career.
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of 'Dizzy Up The Girl', we're hitting the road this Fall to perform the album live in its entirety! https://t.co/i3RDcTINte #dizzy20 pic.twitter.com/wRTxcW2o52
