On April 23rd, 2022, a tragic event took place during a live performance from Crawling Through Tartarus. Gunfire broke out, leaving one dead and four injured, including the vocalist of the band performing, Crawling Through Tartarus. Matt Holzboog was hit in the leg, shattering his tibia and fibula. Matt’s family has created a GoFundMe to help support him, along with the medical bills that followed the tragic shooting. According to NBC Los Angeles, the shooting took place around 9:30pm at the Marquis Lounge, and it left five people in total shot.
