Godsmack score new Gold certifications for “When Legends Rise” and “Under Your Scars”

Whether you enjoy them or not, you really have to be impressed by what Godsmack have done in their careers to date. Debuting in 1998 with their self-titled full-length, the band gained a fanbase over time that eventually helped subsequent albums become some of hard rock’s best-selling albums – even as some of their peers started finding success harder to come by. In fact, the band had three consecutive full-length albums debut at #1, Faceless // IV // The Oracle, which is something only a handful of rock and metal bands have ever done.

Now the band has three more RIAA certifications to add to their list – When Legends Rise, the title track to that album, and “Under Your Scars” have all been certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of 500,000 each. Impressive stuff!
