GCW “Wasted Time” (12.03.2022) (Wrestling Review)

An okay opening that I thought had some pacing issues. Some of Starboys flips were good but I just never got into this match too much.

A fun fast paced tag match. Mercer and Ray had some good tag spots together that show off boy mens strength with the ability to catch a body being thrown towards them. Bang Bros come off looking good too with a lot of spots.

This had its moments but just wasn’t good and that’s really not that either Sawyer or Pondos fault. This was a glass free match so it was tamer to begin with. Pondo bled a ton but it just felt so slow and sluggish. Plus Sawyer can’t get Pondo into moves and Pondo can’t move great so he can’t sell them either.

 A quick and wasteful match. This entire thing just lead to Sandman entering late into the match and not doing much of anything.

A solid match here where Lander got to show off against a GCW staple. Nothing amazing but some solid moves here and the fans were into it.

A decent enough hardcore match here with these two. A bit slow in parts and the pacing wasn’t great but this was a fine match.

Honestly this was fine but it was just a slow match that only had sparks of intensity. There was really no need for it go almost 32 minutes because it just felt like they were killing time.

A fine main event and death match. Cole is fantastic as always and Gage looked solid here actually which doesn’t happen too often anymore.
