Joey Janela’s Spring Break Part 1
Dallas, Texas
March 31st, 2022
Tremont was out so Gage had no partner until Slade in. This was a very substandard 3 way tag match. It ran through everything really quick and Mancer should get credit for bleeding enough for the other 5 guys combined. This was just a handful of bigger spots and Briscoe’s picking up the win in a pretty lackluster way.

A decent match that I felt never caught steam. AR Fox is always great and not huge on Blake since his return from WWE. Too many moments here felt like they were just moving in slow motion and almost going through the motions.

One of Allies dream matches but still not great. Mickie James couldn’t save this slow plodding match. Allie needs to fix some moves because you can clearly tell they don’t connect. The issue was this just had no excitement going with it.

Your typical scramble match. Shorter than expected and full of botches as usual. Some fun spots but this is the same thing we see every GCW show.

I have to say doors are being vastly overused now. This was a slow 20 minute match that I don’t think X-Pac was physically ready for. There was a lot of downtown to breathe and set things up here that could have been taken out of the match. Ending with an awful finish as well was just the icing on this match. This should of been saved for later or cut down to hide everything that was wrong.

A solid championship mix with Moxley and AJ Grey. It just felt unimportant sort of. I figured Grey wasn’t winning but Mox gave it his all to put on a good match. A few good spots and Mox bled well here.

This was a fun continuation of the JWM / Colon feud. It had story telling throwing it back to a previous match they had. Both JWM and Colon bled a ton. These are two of the best deathmatch wrestlers in the country so it’ll be fun to see where this feud continues to go.
