GCW – For The Culture (03.30.2023) (Wrestling Review)

A solid scramble to kick it off. It didn’t go too long and everyone got their moment to shine. Props to commentary for making sure everyone who was involved at the time as a lot of these wrestlers aren’t known to views possibly. Carter winning made sense as he felt like the big deal in the match.

They made a Willie Mack match boring. This being a hardcore type match didn’t even help. Dixon isn’t the most agile here so Willie seemed limited and this just dragged on in parts.

Really liked this one. They didn’t blow through eliminations instead letting everyone get their time their time, have some spots, and build the match up. It never slowed down to a boring pace, there were some really good moments, and the ending was a nice surprise.

Crowd wasn’t into this at all. Keith is really good but 2 Cold here was awful. The match moved so slow and dragged along for most of it. Maybe both had an off night but this just seems on par for 2 Cold anymore.

A fast high flying match as expected. Some really good spots here. The finish though was off. I assume it was suppose to be the cutter from frog splash but something got messed up with the count so they quickly rushed another move. Outside of this this was a fun match.

Just an okay match. It was an odd mix up here since Tankman is just clearly so much bigger. It was fine otherwise but nothing special.
