Apparently former The Acacia Strain guitarist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz is the new frontman of Bad Wolves

Earlier this year, Bad Wolves parted ways with vocalist Tommy Vext, due to a litany of reasons. The band urged fans to be patient, and now it appears that former Acacia Strain guitarist Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz is their new frontman. At least according to Vext himself.

It appears Tommy Vext is pretty salty about the proceedings, though. In a statement posted on his social media, Vext appears to offer a sarcastic congratulations to his former bandmates, while also presumably announcing the new Bad Wolves vocalist.

Congratulations to D.L. former guitarist of Acacia strain who’s the new singer of Bad Wolves.

Unfortunately the band is going to have to change its name if they don’t pay for the songs I wrote and my trademark ownership but either way with this dude the best I guess ??‍♂️?☕️?

As our friends at Music Mayhem also noted, Laskiewicz worked with Bad Wolves on their 2019 album, N.A.T.I.O.N., so there is a history with the band here. Laskiewicz originally left The Acacia Strain in 2013.

Vext and Bad Wolves guitarist Doc Coyle also appear to be getting into sparring matches on Twitter, as well. There’s clearly more to this story, so we’ll keep you posted.
