Fit For A King is currently preparing the follow-up to their 2020 album The Path, with new music coming sooner rather than later. Vocalist Ryan Kirby has taken to Twitter to express what the new album may sound like. Ryan went on to say the band won’t be focusing on radio singles, but rather music they want to write. Fit For A King seem to be going back to their heavier roots, and we’re all for it! They’re preparing for another busy year of touring after just finishing a tour in support of August Burns Red, too.
3 things we want to do differently this time:
1. Bring back massive choruses, like Dark Skies.
2. Don’t shy away from making parts as heavy as we can, tip toe with deathcore at times, like in the past.
3. Don’t sweat songs for radio, if they happen, they happen.
