Oklahoma’s Fight The Fade are seemingly always busy and working on new music. This was the case before their signing to FIXT Records a couple years ago, but since then, the band has continued to release a string of constant music drops that blend rock, alternative metal, and prominent electronic influences into something that always sounds huge. It’s something the band has been doing even since their Second Horizon days almost a decade ago.
And the grind is starting to pay off in a big way. Collaborations and remixes with some big names in electronic music are finally helping Fight The Fade to branch out their audience even more, and new single “Scratching” showcases that quite effectively. A collaboration with rising artist Daedric (who’s going to be a star in her own right), the song really scratches (lol) the electronic + alternative metal itch that you probably have in this realm. With a huge chorus and a nice balance between aggression and melody, “Scratching” just sounds huge.
