A fan attending a Miss May I show has died after a stage diving incident. The show was located in New York at Webster Hall. Stay tuned after the jump for more info.
On May 3rd Miss May was playing a sold out show when the 21 year old Alberto Scott (Pictured below) lost his life. A fundraiser has been set up to pay for his funeral expenses. The website reads:
“On 5/3/14 this vibrant 21 year old young man with a passion for Screamo music and big dreams went to his favorite band’s concert and collapsed and died after dancing.”
The band released the following statement:
“Hey everyone, we are aware of the incident that occurred at Webster Hall last night and will be posting a statement shortly. However, we are awaiting further information regarding the situation before we are able to make a full statement.”
From everyone at The New Fury our hearts go out to the victims family and though things may seem bad at least he was where he wanted to be.
