Erra drops a stunner with exciting new single, “House Of Glass”

While they’re a household name in the metalcore scene now, things weren’t always easy for progressive metalcore band Erra. However, after releasing a couple critically acclaimed albums on Tragic Hero Records (2011’s Impulse and 2013’s stunning Augment), the band got off the ground rather quickly both in terms of achieving success as well as growing as musicians. Multiple lineup changes later and the addition of vocalist JT Cavey have done the band wonders, as Erra has never been bigger than they are right now.

It’s with that being said that the band’s new single, “House Of Glass”, is a real winner. Building on the momentum of their more recent work, “House Of Glass” is a brilliant distillation of everything that makes Erra, well, Erra. Big melodies, huge vocals, and some very intriguing songwriting are helping to make “House Of Glass” one of the band’s more interesting songs to date. The song, which features on the band’s as of yet untitled album due out early in 2021, combines everything in the band’s past that made them special – and helps Erra blaze a trail for others to follow in their wake.
