From the metal breeding ground that is Pennsylvania comes a band that is reminiscent of the early 2000s metal scene, Era of Discord. Making their presence known in 2016 with their debut song ‘Noir’, Era of Discord captures the chaotic energy of early 2000s hard rock/metal bands such as Slipknot, Ill Nino, and Godsmack. Era of Discord have been fairly silent since their 2017 album ‘Terra Imperium’, which flew under a lot of people’s radars. The Philadelphia metal band hasn’t released any new music since their 2017 debut, but all that changed recently with their new song ‘Human Condition’. Releasing exclusively through BVTV Music, Era of Discord makes a triumphant return with their new song and music video. Lyrically speaking, Era of Discord tackles the darkest side that humanity has to offer. The new song comes packed with a visually telling music video to help project the story behind the song. Era of Discord holds no punches with unfiltered and nuclear lyrics. Their long-awaited upcoming album will be the topics of discourse, violence, betrayal, the worse humans can display. I was impressed when I came across ‘Human Condition’. The song is very well produced and written, with the raw, powerful energy of the band displayed.
