Formed in Charlotte, NC Tidalwave brings a sound that fans of alternative music will enjoy. With heavy guitars and grungy vocals they are definitely a name to pay attention to. Hear what we think after the jump!
This four song EP does not disappoint. I can’t help but be reminded of Deftones a little bit, the darker lyrics with the heavy instrumentals create this beautiful mixture of sounds that caught my ears by surprise. The last track “Solace” shows the bands happier side, at least instrumental wise. This band is definitely one that you shouldn’t sleep on. Check out their EP via Bandcamp.
