Enter The Word Alive’s “Violent Noise” with a new song, “Red Clouds”

There was a time when Arizona metalcore/post-hardcore veterans The Word Alive were the metaphorical new kids on the block in the music scene. The band’s 2010 debut album Deceiver was a heralded opening salvo that really set the music scene on fire, and with tracks as deceptively catchy as “Lights And Stones” and “Dream Catcher”, The Word Alive proved more than capable of delivering solid albums each time out.

Fast forward to 2012 2018, and the still thriving band is gearing up to release their 5th full-length on Fearless Records, Violent Noise. Following up the solid Dark Matter won’t be an easy task, but given the band’s musical consistency, one would be wise not to doubt the veteran outfit. While some fans may feel the band hasn’t matched their debut full-length since then, there have been plenty of moments where they’ve come close, especially on the track “Astral Plane”, from their 2012 album Life Cycles.

The band’s new track, “Red Clouds”, is a good introduction to Violent Noise, which arrives May 4th. If their past work is any indication, the hype for Violent Noise is about to build to a fever pitch.
