Emerging heavy rock band American Prophet releases new single “Sober (Clip Your Wings)”

Before you ask, no, this isn’t a Tool cover. Atlanta’s American Prophet are a name you need to watch anyway, though. I mean, they hail from the same state as bands like Sevendust, so you know they’re probably pretty talented.

With a solid mix of rock and metalcore influences, the band actually went six years without releasing music before the single release of “Die Young” earlier this year. We’re stoked to bring you their newest song “Sober (Clip Your Wings)” a couple days before it drops on all streaming services. Again, it’s a solid mix of heavier rock and metalcore that could probably fit on Active Rock radio, with said accessibility as well. Overall, pretty good stuff, and it won’t be a surprise to see the band do big things in the near future.
