It’s all coming together now for trap-metal band Dropout Kings. The band’s high-octane brand of rap-metal merges electronic influences, hip-hop’s swagger, and metal’s bouncy rhythms in a way that’s seen them collaborate with all kinds of artists as well. Now they’re getting on major tours and still grinding every day to make their names known throughout the world. The work ethic is real!
The band’s single “Devil’s Playground”, which saw a re-release earlier this year on their GlitchGang album (they’re now on Suburban Noize Records), now has a video for the single as well. The song features up and coming musician Eliza Grace, whose covers of songs from Bring Me The Horizon and more have racked up over 270k Youtube subscribers as well. It’s an interesting mix of styles that is a lot more pop-influenced than fans might be expecting – but also hints at possible bigger things to come. They’re also headed out on a headlining tour with VRSTY and Guerilla Warfare in Febuary, dates below.
