Deftones set to release new album in September

download

September 2015 is going to be a killer month for new music, and that month just got even better with the announcement that Deftones will be releasing the untitled follow-up to Koi No Yokan. Chino Moreno had the following statement about the album, which also follows an announcement of dates in the Europe and UK later this year.

Vocalist Chino Moreno recently guested on the Rock Show With Daniel P. Carter and had this to say about the new album:

“The record as far as music has been all recorded and I am currently working on the vocals. I’ve been recording from my home studio here in Oregon. Slowly but surely getting it done. It’s coming out really good, it’s another Deftones record, I feel like us reaching a little bit, getting more into… The song structures, trying to challenge ourselves a little bit you know what I mean? It’s sounding good, I think it’s gonna be a great record.”

Surrounding this info is a co-headlining US tour with Incubus (info here), and Amnesia Rockfest, where the band will be playing Around The Fur in its entirety. Stay tuned to www.thenewfury.com for all upcoming information.
