Another summer means the annual Vans Warped Tour is in full swing right now, and there’s dozens of bands who are straight killing it this season – from pop-punk standouts Boston Manor to melodic hardcore veterans Counterparts, every band on the tour has a place and a message to spread. This goes twofold for bands like Counterparts and Trophy Eyes, who have to pay expensive fees for international work visas just to make it overseas – not to mention further expenses just for being far away from home.
That being said, the fact that Warped Tour exists is a borderline miracle, considering the setup and takedown that goes on every single day. The international bands playing this tour often have more of a proverbial chip on their shoulder, and in conjunction with Warped, bands like Counterparts and Trophy Eyes are taking part in a mini documentary that shows the struggles and financial issues these bands often face – but also the hard work that they put in on a daily basis. You can check out a short 4 minute teaser below – the teaser is quite compelling and will likely make for interesting viewing.
