Canadian deathcore band Planetkiller release their monumental new EP “Fraudulent”

The Canadian deathcore heavyweights known as Planetkiller has had a strong presence in the metal community.  The group found life in 2019 with the release of their debut EP Treachery, and ever since have had a solid fan-base supporting their slam-influenced take on the deathcore genre. Planetkiller strives to bring a crushingly brutal take on the deathcore genre, and have done so very well since their conception. Planetkiller has become one of the most underrated bands in the genre with each release being molded and crafted to the top of tiers. The heavy hitters that make up Planetkiller have finally resurfaced in 2021 to bring us a brand new EP titled Fraudulent, and with that more reasons to affirm our reasons to believe that this is a strong year for the metal realm of music. Planetkiller released three excellent singles to build up the hype for this album, “Become None”, “Machine Gods”, and  “Futility”. These singles are heavy hitters and are some of my favorites off the new seven track EP. That doesn’t mean Planetkiller didn’t just show all their cards however, the EP holds some outstandingly written and executed songs. Our favorite off the EP “Fraudulent” has to be the song “Become None” for its cold atmosphere that seems to show its peak here in this song as it plays out and progresses in a well-done manner. Planetkiller holds no bars with this new EP, bringing some of their heaviest, well written songs to date. Planetkiller has been one of our daily jams for the last few years, and this EP will be joining that replayed playlist.

Planetkiller proves yet again they have what it takes to play with the big boys, and with their new EP “Fraudulent”, it will hopefully open new and exciting doors for this band as it is their best work yet as a band, in our opinion.
