Since their 2014 debut album Disgusting set them on a path to play both sweaty bars and major festivals with equal aplomb, post-hardcore band Beartooth have been killing the game quite handily. It’s safe to say that, assuming their 3rd full-length releases in 2018, it’ll be one of the more highly anticipated records of the year.
For some, though, last year’s album Aggressive was a slight sophomore slump. It certainly wasn’t a bad album, to be sure, but much of the album was fairly predictable – at least depending on who you ask. Now, Caleb Shomo is throwing some info ourvway about the upcoming material. Read into it what you will – perhaps it will be the best Beartooth album yet?
Hope y’all are ready for a very dark Beartooth album. So far LP3’s feeling more like disgusting emotionally. Some of these lyrics are very heavy if you deal with depression and suicide. Let’s all work through it together ✊
