Bruce Campbell is breaking the horror section of the internet today, with the first footage from Evil Dead Rise being released ahead of the full trailer which comes out tomorrow.
Campbell states before the teaser, “Now I’ve seen the movie and all of its glory and in case you’re wondering, yes it is amazing and yes, it is the scariest one yet.”

The plot for the film is as follows:
“In the fifth Evil Dead film, a road-weary Beth pays an overdue visit to her older sister Ellie, who is raising three kids on her own in a cramped L.A apartment. The sisters’ reunion is cut short by the discovery of a mysterious book deep in the bowels of Ellie’s building, giving rise to flesh-possessing demons, and thrusting Beth into a primal battle for survival as she is faced with the most nightmarish version of motherhood imaginable.”
Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and Robert Tapert are producing Evil Dead Rise and according to Bruce all 3 have been extremely involved in the film since its making.
