Bring Me The Horizon’s “Teardrops” is poised to be one of the band’s biggest singles to date. Coming in at almost 40 million streams on Spotify alone since its release in late 2020, the song is pretty much tailor-made for active rock radio. Valid comparisons to the streamlined sound of early Linkin Park may abound on “Teardrops”, but that doesn’t mean it’s not one of BMTH’s most anthemic songs to date. Needless to say, it’s pretty popular – and gaining traction in the USA as well.
According to the Mediabase charts, the song has entered the top 10 at USA active rock radio, alongside bands like Chevelle, Seether, and Papa Roach. In fact, the song received a 7.5% increase in radio spins over the last week, meaning it very well could take the #1 spot eventually. This comes on the heels of the band’s 2013 song “Can You Feel My Heart” experiencing a resurgence, thanks to going viral on TikTok.
