Beasto Blanco are preaching a positive on their new single “Lowlands” which sees the band return to their roots and bring a message of self-worth. This is the bands second single from their upcoming album “KINETICA” out July 20th. The band will also be across Europe this summer and fall for a run of festival dates followed by a fall headline EU tour.
As frontwoman Calico Cooper shares, “’I wrote ‘Lowlands’ about a person who always tried to make me feel small, like I was never doing enough and should feel lucky to have them. I think we’ve all felt that in relationships, jobs, or with our families. So I wanted it to ignite a fire under people to ask… ‘What makes this other person so great in the first place?’ Chances are, it’s you!”
Adds band co-founder Chuck Garric, “’Lowlands’ is us getting back to our roots. But what we really wanted to explore is a different facet of our sound. The song is a hybrid of swampy roots-based rock’n’roll with a dirty electronic feel. Chris Harms did an amazing job creating this powerful anthem for us.”
Lineup:
Chuck Garric (long time Alice Cooper bassist) on guitars and vocals
Calico Cooper on vocals
Brother Latham on guitars
Jan LeGrow on bass
Sean Sellers on drums
