About a year ago around this time, Bad Omens started experiencing serious viral success with their song “Just Pretend”. Not released as a pre-release single, the song has ended up being their most popular to date anyway, and it even has a good shot to become the band’s first-ever RIAA Gold single if its trajectory continues. That’s not a small thing for a band on their third record, in this musical climate.
One wonders if that might happen during their fall North American headlining tour, which promises to hit some of the band’s biggest venues to date. Joining them are Erra and I See Stars, the latter on their first major tour in quite a while. They’re also playing major festivals alongside the headlining tour dates, so there’s that.
the algorithm has finally put me on bad omens twitter, so here’s a thirst trap i did to one of their songs because that seems to annoy gatekeeping basement dwellers. pic.twitter.com/ghq5Exab6p
