Avenged Sevenfold’s “Bat Country” and self-titled album have been certified Platinum by the RIAA

Back in March, Avenged Sevenfold scored another Platinum award for their 2003 album Waking The Fallen. Then last month, the band earned further accolades for their Hail To The King and Nightmare albums, and while the band are currently working on their first album since 2016, even more accolades have come through the vault, at least as far as album sales are concerned.

Now, the band has received a staggering 6 more Platinum certifications, including certs for some of their biggest songs. “Almost Easy”, “Nightmare”, and “Bat Country” are included in the mix, as well as the band’s 2007 self-titled album, which launched Avenged Sevenfold into the stratosphere. Considering “Bat Country” is still more or less inescapable on rock radio (and has been since its debut), this isn’t all that surprising – and no doubt, the band’s streaming popularity has helped, too. Still a huge accomplishment worthy of…critical acclaim.

All 6 of these singles + the band’s 2007 self-titled have gone Platinum, including…

“Nightmare” (single)
“Shepherd Of Fire” (single)
“Hail To The King” (single)
“Almost Easy” (single)
“Bat Country” (single)
Avenged Sevenfold (2007 album)
