Jonny Craig has released his third solo album with the help of Captain Midnite and Kyle Lucas. Featuring the same electronic and hip hop/R&B vibe from his last album this one is a must have if you enjoyed “Find What You Love and Let It Kill You”. Stay tuned after the jump to hear more.
If you aren’t familiar with Captain Midnite or Kyle Lucas, Captain Midnite makes beats and sings a little and Kyle Lucas is a rapper, the trio have been working together for a while now and so far in my opinion is has worked very well. The mixture of soulful vocals and clever rapping really shine on this album. The beats made by Captain Midnite hit hard and will have you bobbing your head in no time. While I may miss the older work which featured a full live band I can honestly say I love Jonny’s newer work as well. If you’re a long time fan or even if you are just learning about Jonny and Kyle; this is a must have.
The single “Burn Baby Burn” (Linked below) really shows off the chemistry Kyle and Jonny have, a beautiful chorus followed by a deep and clever verse from Kyle, and this is what you will have the whole entire album.
