AEW Dynamite – Episode 170 (01.04.2023) (Wrestling Review)

Jericho taking a clean loss again is shocking. Starks had a lot of offense here then came close to losing before the come back. Him winning with the spear is good because he doesn’t use it often but has won with it before.

A good tag match here. Not huge on Jarrett being back but he held up here with everyone. The false finish got a good pop but to finish the match quickly after that felt odd.

A fun match with Strickland and Fox who had history in Lucha Underground. Fox is a vet who likely won’t do much in ring here but clearly has the skills to help out. The holds here slowed it down a bit bit the big spots helped this stand out.

Some interesting moments but this was mainly just another Jade squash fest.

A fast paced quicker match here for the belt. Darby getting the cheap attack to start then having Joe be dominate for most of it was smart. Makes Darby look strong fighting for the belt. The comeback to win the belt was good and both guys came off here looking great.
