Tag Team Match
Danhausen & Hook vs. Mark Sterling & Tony Nese

A fun pre show match that was nothing more than Hookhausen (Hook and Danhausen) being insanely over.

2.5 / 5

Singles Match
Wardlow vs. MJF

Not much of a match at all as it was just the end of the story feud between Wardlow and MJF. This made Wardlow look like a dominate beast and 10 power bombs is impressive.

1.5 / 5

Tag Team Match
The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) vs. The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (w/Brandon Cutler)

It seemed like Jeff was hurt or something for the first half of this. He didn’t sell much and seemed out of it somewhat. This really picked up in the second half. Some fun spots, close calls, and the crowd was super into it. Bucks are usual are great and held it all together with The Hardyz. Hopefully this win doesn’t push them to the tag belts soon.

3.75 / 5

AEW TBS Title Match
Jade Cargill (c) vs. Anna Jay

Jade is still so bad in ring that her run as champ doesn’t mean much. Anna Jay carried most the match and had to set herself up right for spots that Jade had going. Debuting Stokely during the match as well made no sense nor why Anna would be so distracted by it. Athena debuting after the match is awesome though.

1.5 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Death Triangle (PAC, Penta Oscuro & Rey Fenix) (w/Alex Abrahantes) vs. The House Of Black (Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black)

A really fun match with a story that’s been building for months. Fenix’s injury held it back but thankfully neither team held back anything here. A lot of chaos, tons of spots, close calls, and all around chaos. AEW tag matches work best like this when the rules are somewhat loosely enforced. Julia Hart coming in to continue the story that’s been building worked and gave it a cheap finish without hurting Death Triangle while letting this feud possibly continue.

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Final Match
Samoa Joe vs. Adam Cole

A decent match that just never felt great. Joe always looks good and Cole did as well but it never felt special. Nothing ever happened that pushed it into a great match and even with Fish getting involved the ending just sort of happened in a almost random anticlimactic way.

2.5 / 5

Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Final Match
Ruby Soho vs. Dr. Britt Baker DMD

Both women are over with the crowd even if Baker is a heel. The match itself was good if not a few minutes too long. It always felt like Baker was set to win especially given Cole winning the match before. Ending it with a roll up though felt a little odd.

2 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Frankie Kazarian, Sammy Guevara & Tay Conti vs. Men Of The Year (Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky) & Paige VanZant (w/Dan Lambert)

A mixed bag kind of match. Sammy and Tay are boo’d by the crowd but Tay isn’t exactly a natural heel, people just find them annoying. The match had some good spots and Paige Vanzant looked good for her first match. Page is underused in AEW still but I’m not sure what exactly he’d do otherwise. Frankie and Sky both showed why they are veterans as well with some great back and forth moments.

2.5 / 5

Singles Match
Kyle O’Reilly vs. Darby Allin

A hard hitting match that had both men looking good but was just a little odd. Darby losing threw everyone off as Kyle is mainly a tag guy in AEW and Darby shouldn’t be losing somewhat pointless matches like this.

2 / 5

AEW Women’s World Title Match
Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Serena Deeb

Despite the match taking some time to get into and the crowd mostly not caring this was okay. Made to look like a personal grudge match here they tried to work the desire to fight each other heavy here. Some submissions looked bad and it was clear Deep had zero chance of taking the belt.

2.5 / 5

Anarchy In The Arena Ten Man Tag Team Match
The Jericho Appreciation Society (Angelo Parker, Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager & Matt Menard) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley), Eddie Kingston, Ortiz & Santana

Other than the finish being unexpected, especially with Danielson taking the fall this was a fun chaotic match. It was all over the place, had some incredibly memorable moments, but also some that didn’t hit as well. Jerichos team is still filled with some wastes of spots (Hager) and seeing Kingston try to go into business for himself was a good addition.

3.75 / 5

AEW World Tag Team Title Three Way Match
Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) (w/Christian Cage) (c) vs. Swerve In Our Glory (Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland) vs. Team Taz (Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks)

A really fun 3 way tag match. I still hate the rules of this as I think one match from each team should always be in as tagging another team is a dumb idea. Strickland and Lee are so great together with some of the spots they do and the crowd loves them. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus always are fun to see Starks & Hobbs worked well here with Starks being the low man in the match. Some good close calls here and the feeling of not knowing if we’d see new champs had the crowd behind this.

4 / 5

AEW World Title Match
Adam Page (c) vs. CM Punk

Punk continues to throw Bret Hart tributes into matches here. This was a good main event, granted your opinions on Punk winning the belt may vary. Hangman debuting on cheating to retain or winning legit was a good element. Sure some Punk moves were slip ups or looked less than stellar but the story here between these two and the crowd being so behind it carried it.
