Abyss of Gehenna is a newcomer to the deathcore scene from the shores of Taiwan. Appearing over a year ago with their song “Treachery”, Abyss of Gehenna showcases heavy hitting percussion, elegant songwriting, and brutal vocals to match. Abyss of Gehenna continued with the release of their second song “Gluttony”, and after that release we were onboard with this talented band and what they envisioned with their music. Abyss of Gehenna has just unleashed their debut EP “The Divine Comedy”, and this six track heavy hitting EP satisfies in all the right spots for fans of the genre. Overall the EP has good flow, and good structure. Each song seems to be in the correct order, and they play off each other very well. Abyss of Gehenna has teamed up with Reality Fade to release their debut EP. This is just the start for the promising up and coming group, and we’re excited to see what Abyss of Gehenna does next!
Fans of slamming deathcore will particularly find something intriguing with Abyss of Gehenna, their take on the genre is refreshing, yet familiar.
