Light The Fire release hypnotic single “Decompose”

Dallas melodic hardcore band Light The Fire recently dropped a new single, “Decompose”. The group incorporates haunted house visuals that align aesthetically with the track and the band’s evolution as they prepare to embark on the next phase of their journey.

The band further discusses their single in the following statement, signifying a message of death and rebirth:

“‘Decompose’, on the surface, sounds like a goodbye letter to the world. While it can represent that, it is actually a metaphor for allowing the death of a part of one’s self that is unhealthy for them so that a new and healthy version can flourish. Ultimately, it deals with the struggle within that growth process and how painful and hard it can be going through it.”

“Decompose” marks one step closer to the anticipated release of Light The Fire’s new album Death Won’t Be The End of Me. The LP features six singles, including a collaboration with Mike Perez of No Bragging Rights on “Defeatist”. “Decompose” casts its ‘eternal flame’ spell, captivating listeners with hypnotic melodies, introspective lyrics, and addicting riffs: “Let the soil absorb my bones / replenish the earth with my soul / Seize the change… Goodbye cruel world / Can’t say that I’ll miss you / Let the earth swallow me whole.”
