Many Eyes, the new band featuring Keith Buckley (ex Every Time I Die) have dropped their second single as a band. “Mystic Cord” will fit right in with what fans expect from Buckley. Its fast and heavy yet melodic with a vocal style and sound that is unique to Buckley. The band is also gearing up to kick off 2024 with their first US tour opening for Thursday.
Speaking on the track, Buckley shares, “Lyrically, the song is about untangling ourselves from the traditions that bind us to past trauma. I hoped to express the idea that it’s not enough to just put up a boundary, there has to be the deeper, more difficult work of separating one’s entire life path from the path of those who harm us.”
