Jun Kasai Produce Blood X-Mas 2022

Toyko, Japan

Tokyo Desert Homeless Death Match
Brahman Brothers (Brahman Kei & Brahman Shu) & Kikutaro vs. ERE (Dobunezumi Fukki, Kyu Mogami & Toshiyuki Sakuda) (w/Takayuki Ueki)

Really more a comedy match than anything. Wasn’t a big fan at all or of all the random boxes laying around for the “stipulation”.

Eight Man Tag Team Match
Dragon Libre, GENTARO, Kamui & Tatsuhito Takaiwa vs. Gaia Hox, Jun Masaoka, Rekka & Takahiro Katori

This was a pretty boring and uneventful 8 man tag match.

Scramble Bunkhouse Death Match
Minoru Fujita vs. Violento Jack

A decent but very slow match. Some good blood but not really eventful with the big moments given how slow it was.

1.5 / 5

Hardcore Tag Team Match
Mammoth Sasaki & Takashi Sasaki vs. Masashi Takeda & Yusaku Ito

This was a fun better paced match. Really liked some of the spots with the chairs, those looked pretty brutal. More bloody than expected too given it wasn’t a deathmatch.

King Of FREEDOM World Tag Team Title Self Weapon Death Match
Soul Meat (Tomoya Hirata & Toru Sugiura) (c) vs. Alex Colon & Rina Yamashita

Rina wrestling with barbed wire stuck in her hair was tough. This was solid just as you’d expect given who was involved. Some good moments and the big spots felt important because it wasn’t a nonstop weapon heavy deathmatch type.

3 / 5

King Of FREEDOM World Title Glass & Fluorescent Lighttubes Death Match
Drew Parker (c) vs. Jun Kasai

I liked that this match built into being a deathmatch then went full throttle. Parker and Kasai are two of the best deathmatch guys in Japan and show it here. Tons of glass, blood, and big spots where you can tell its two guys pouring their heart into the match.
