AAA
Gira Aniversario XXX Noche De Campeones
Acapulco, Mexico
Dec. 28th, 2022
A fun opening match here. A lot of high flying and good spots throughout until the end of the match. It killed the momentum of the match and the crowd didn’t react at all.
3 / 5
This had some really good lucha moments and spots mixed with some technical moments. Some spots though looked rough due to them slowing down to set it up which killed it some. Also had a bit of an odd pacing throughout.
2.5 / 5
This had its moments but felt sloppy and slow throughout it mostly. Pagano winning it is expected as he continues to be a big featured guy.
1.5 / 5
3 great lucha guys in this match. It had its big moments but was a little slower paced than expected. Arez deserves the win here though it could have went to any guy.
3 / 5
A good match that didn’t fully hit the way I expected. The Konnan angle didn’t work great and while all guys are great it never really felt like it got going and stayed with a great pace. Add in a rather flat feeling ending and it was good, just not great.
3 / 5
One of the best matches of 2022 for lucha. Two of the best lucha guys out there putting their all in it for the title. Vikingo continues to be the hottest rising lucha guy out there doing moves that seem other worldly with how he does it with such ease.
