In 2017, Motionless In White released Graveyard Shift – their fourth full-length overall. The band’s first on Roadrunner Records, the record cemented the band as a popular metalcore favorite – yet it also managed to carry a tremendous amount of crossover appeal to a more mainstream audience. Best of both worlds, basically.
Buoyed by singles “Necessary Evil” (which features Korn’s Jonathan Davis), “Voices”, and fan favorite “Eternally Yours”, the record ended up being quite successful. However, there’s one song in particular off the album that vocalist Chris Motionless particularly dislikes, even labeling it as arguably his least favorite MIW track.

That track is “LOUD (Fuck It)”, a single that was released off the album. And boy, does Chris seem to despise the song. He didn’t elaborate why, unfortunately, but it could be due their label pushing them to make a more commercial song (though, MIW have plenty of those, so this is just conjecture). Either way, he really doesn’t care for the track. Now you know.
I’d rather fuck a cactus than listen to that song in any setting.
