The Sleeping were a big deal in the post punk world in the mid to late 2000s. With 4 full length records, songs in Madden, Guitar Hero games, Tony Hawk, and tours with bands who are staples of the genre now like Senses Fail and Taking Back Sunday, the band held their own back in the day. For the first time in nearly ten years though the band has announced they will be back together for a live show at the legendary St. Vitus in NYC on Feb. 17th. Tickets will be on sale this Friday.
“It feels like it has been forever but it’s finally here and we’re finally able to share,” shouts vocalist Doug Robinson. “Our first show in almost a decade. What better way to make up for long lost time. We invite you to come be a part of this very special evening at the legendary Saint Vitus Bar. One epic night. Original lineup. You really won’t want to miss this show and the major announcement that comes with it.”
