Midwest pop-punk band Clearfight are making some early waves in the pop-punk scene. Only releasing their first new music last year with debut single “Goldmine”, they’ve released a consistent flow of new music since then and have garnered a quick early fanbase.
The new single, which was mastered by Kris Crummett, is the follow up to their debut EP released earlier this year. In fact, “Dropout” sees the band signing with Theoria Records for the first time, which will expose their bright vocal melodies and catchy song structures to a wider audience. And if this is something you’re into, Clearfight will be releasing new music all throughout the rest of the year, which means the best is yet to come.
About the new song, the band had this to say: “DROPOUT is about people you had high expectations for in your life, who only used your trust to stab you in the back. People can use your trust as a platform to only bring you down to their level, and this song is about the destructive behavior that comes with these people in our lives.”
