AEW Dynamite – Episode 133 (04.20.2022) (Wrestling Review)

Dynamite

Pittsburg, Pennsylvania

Singles Match
CM Punk vs. Dustin Rhodes

A solid match but shouldn’t have been an opener. Went a bit long and was a slower paced match. Punk took it easier on Dustin till Dustin kicked him in the face and that was a good angle that they ran during the match.

3 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Match
Brock Anderson, Dante Martin & Lee Moriarty vs. The Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta) (w/William Regal)

A lackluster match mainly made for BCC to control it. It was shorter and to the point.

Singles Match
Wardlow vs. The Butcher

A longer squash match. Butcher had little offense then got fed to Wardlow.

Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Qualifying Match
Kyle O’Reilly vs. Jungle Boy

This was a good match between the two. Solid back and forth and nicely paced. A shocking ending though that was out of no where.

3 / 5

Singles Match
Anthony Henry vs. Hook

It was a HOOK match that’s for sure. Danhausen makes everything better though. Danhausen helps ratings get better.

3.5 / 5

Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Qualifying Match
Dr. Britt Baker DMD vs. Danielle Kamela

A boring snore of a match that went too long. Her tapping to Britt the second it gets locked in just looks so bad, not because it looks like it hurts, but because the move isn’t even locked in and your tapping.

.5 / 5

Coffin Match
Andrade El Idolo vs. Darby Allin

Honestly not as good as I expected. It was a brawl match with loads of interference and big spots carried by people not involved. Even at 12 minutes it felt too long due to this. We knew who’d win and Andrade did his best to help carry things.

2.5 / 5
