For being one of the angriest and heaviest bands in the scene, The Acacia Strain have always put their money where their mouth is. At least when it comes to supporting and promoting causes they believe in. Much like Silent Planet did recently, The Acacia Strain recently released exclusive merch to support Ukraine – specifically the Ukrainian Crisis Relief Fund.

And it definitely worked. Doing more than bands multiple times their size, The Acacia Strain raised a staggering $60,000 for the Ukrainian fund, which is obviously a lot of money. Between The Acacia Strain and Silent Planet doing this, as well as Jinjer supporting their Ukrainian homebase with almost $150k for their t-shirt campaign, a lot of bands with big fanbases could really learn from these three acts supporting the country.
