ARCHERS Release New Cover and Music Video of Dua Lipa’s “Levitating”

Wisconsin metal-core band ARCHERS took to the roller rink to put a 70’s disco feel on their music video for their cover of Levitating, originally performed by Dua Lipa.

ARCHERS put an alternative metal-core spin on the originally pop song that makes it even catchier than before. The song has a bouncy feel that is sure to get stuck in your head. The song features bassist, Nate Porter’s, first vocal feature for the band and brings the breakdown to life. The music video was filmed at Waukesha Skateland and perfectly accompanies the vibe of the song. ARCHERS took elements from the original Dua Lipa pop song and brought them to life in a completely new way that any alternative music fan is sure to love. The band was sure to even keep the original ad libs and backing vocals but with a completely new spin.

The cover was released in perfect timing to be a summer anthem that makes you go from wanting to get up and dance to wanting to start a mosh pit in your house, the song’s flow keeps you on edge wondering what’s coming next throughout its entirety. The music video has a perfect 70’s feel featuring scenes from an arcade, rollerskating, and of course a disco ball. With the release of their Levitating cover, and potential new original music coming later this year, ARCHERS is a band that you definitely need to have on your watch list.
